Membership
The society shall comprise of Founder Members and three (3) other kinds of members, namely, Honorary, Life, and Ordinary (Annual).
The life and ordinary membership shall be open to all those interested in the promotion of Statistics and Agricultural Statistics having any degree/diploma in Statistics/Agricultural Statistics, or have studied Statistics as one of the subjects and, or have worked in the field of Statistics or in related fields, like Management, Economics, Mathematics, Computer, or have been engaged in services requiring statistical applications, as would be decided by the General Body of the Society time to time.
Honorary memberships shall be awarded to those personalities with outstanding research achievement and proclaimed leadership in Statistics as would be decided by the Governing Body (such personalities as Honorary members shall in all ways enrich and promote the diverse functions of the Society by their guidance). Such members shall not be eligible for voting or to be members of the Governing Body. Facilities to be extended to such members shall be decided by the Governing Body.
Admission to membership of the Society shall be on the approval of the Governing Body. The Governing body may refuse to admit any person as a member without assigning any reason thereof.

Membership of the Society for Application of Statistics in Agriculture and Allied Sciences(SASAA) is open to all individuals / Institutions / Corporates, interested in promotion of Statistics and Agricultural Statistics having any degree/diploma in Statistics/Agricultural Statistics who have studied statistics as one of the subjects and, or working in the field of statistics or related fields like Management, Economics, Mathematics, Computer, Foreign services, Forestry services etc. or other services as would be decided by the Governing Body time to time.
